"The Race to Own the World" (2001):

Are we running a race?

Are we racing against ourselves? Each other? Other nations? Other species? Consumerism? Technology? History? Evolution?

What is the prize?

What do we have to loose?

And at what cost?

The contestants reach for goals, trip, push, collapse, succeed, fall back, compromise, destroy, impact, aspire, and fear in their journey. It is a crowded, destructive, and violent race, yet at the same time it is also invigorating, lyrical, and beautiful, and thus saturated with contradictions. It is up to the viewer to bring awareness to their own journey and make sense out of the chaos that is life's race.
